Also due to receive an advance on earnings is Les Cris, the sixth feature film by Raoul Peck, adirector accustomed to major festivals (in competition at Locarno in 1988, Cannes in 1993, Berlin in 2005, the Directors' Fortnight in 2000, the Berlinale Special in 2010, the Panorama in 2014 and out of competition at Berlin in 2017 with The Young Karl Marx [+leggi anche:

, nominated for an Oscar in 2017 and winner of the César Award in 2018). Co-written with Pascal Bonitzer, the director's new film will be produced by Velvet Film.

Also on the list is the animated project La Sirène by Sepideh Farsi (read the article - screenplay by Djavad Djavahery - produced by Les Films d'Ici and co-produced by the Belgian outfit Lunanime) and a documentary project entitled La Très Grande Évasion by Denis Robert (a famous investigative journalist who covered the Clearstream affair, which went onto inspire The Clearstream Affair [+leggi anche:
