The story, written by Ludovic Bergery with contributions from Julien Boivent (nominated for the César Award for Best Adaptation in 2006 for In His Hands [+leggi anche:

scheda film]), revolves around 50-year-old Margaux, who has lost her husband and is starting a new life. She moves into her sister’s house and decides to enrol at university in order to continue studying. But she soon feels a pressing need for something else. As she meets various new people, she will embark upon a quest for love and lose her way...
Produced by Frédéric Niedermayer for Moby Dick Films, Margaux Hartmann is being co-produced by Les Films Pelléas and has secured support from the CNC’s advance on receipts, the Ile-de-France region and the Manon Sofica. The shoot will take place from 14 January-20 February in Paris and the Paris region, with Martin Roux serving as DoP. The international sales will be overseen by WTFilms.
