The movies in the Official Selection of the 72^nd Cannes Film Festival (14-25 May) are finally all present and correct. After an initial flurry of titles, including the vast majority of the contenders for the Palme d’Or (see the article) and the features set to be showcased in Un Certain Regard (see the news), followed by a slew of subsequent additions (see the news), the programme has been topped off with the cherry on the cake, dubbed the “Last Screening”. The Specials, which stars Vincent Cassel and Reda Kateb in the lead roles, was produced by Quad and Ten Films, and co-produced by TF1 Film Production and Gaumont, which is also in charge of the international sales and will oversee the French distribution from 23 October.
