Exceptional circumstances require exceptional programming. On the occasion of its 46th edition, which will take place from 4 to 13 September, and as a sign of solidarity in the context of the health crisis, the Deauville Film Festival, usually dedicated to American productions, has decided to invite the Cannes Film Festival, which will present nine feature films labelled by its 2020 Official Selection.

Lastly, Barbet Schroeder will give a masterclass, Vanessa Paradis will chair the competition jury (which will also include, amongst others, Zita Hanrot, Mounia Meddour, Sylvie Pialat, Vincent Lacoste, Bruno Podalydès and Yann Gonzalez and rapper Oxmo Puccino) while director Rebecca Zlotowski will head the Revelation jury (comprised also of Luàna Bajrami, Mya Bollaers, Antoine Reinartz and Arnaud Rebotini).
