) and Alex Beaupain, the script is set in 1977, in Paris and Cinecittà. Elias is a penniless writer, a recluse working tirelessly on his writing. Léonore is the new star of French cinema — and Elias has no idea. Through misunderstandings, fits of jealousy, twists and turns, it will take them one year to find each other; they will even have to face up to the schemes set up by Myrette, Elias’s maid, who is wildly in love with him…

Produced by Maxime Delauney, Romain Rousseau and Mathieu Ageron for Nolita, Hear Me Love is co-produced by Les Canards Sauvages, Hors Champs Productions, ICE and Ugo&Play. Pre-bought by OCS, Disney+ and TF1, the film also benefits from an advance on receipts from the CNC. The distribution in French cinemas will be handled by Haut et Court and the international sales (excluding SVOD and TV rights) by Ginger & Fed.
