) who works as a fortune teller in the Goutte d'Or neighbourhood in Paris. A cunning manipulator and a bit of a poet, he has set up a solid little enterprise specialised in consolation. The arrival of children coming from the streets of Tangier will disturb the equilibrium of his business and of the neighbourhood. Until the day he has a real vision… The film, which will begin filming in early June, is produced by Jean-Christophe Reymond for Kazak Productions and co-produced by France 2 Cinéma. Also pre-bought by Canal+ and OCS, the feature film benefits from the support of the advance on receipts from the CNC and of the Île-de-France and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions. French distribution will be handled by Diaphana.

, which will be the first feature film directed by Jeanne Aslan and Paul Saintillan, won a Special Mention. Written by the duo of filmmakers in collaboration with Agnès Feuvre, the script centres on a young woman looking to escape from the chaotic atmosphere of her family and who sneaks into the home of a friend who has gone on holiday. But in the beautiful flat which she believed to be empty, she bumps into her friend’s older brother. He will appear understanding. Between them begins a seemingly friendly relationship… Heading the cast are Céleste Brunnquell (nominated in 2020 for the Most Promising Actress César award and for the Revelation Lumières award for The Dazzles [+leggi anche:

). Produced by Antoine Delahousse and Thomas Jaeger for Haïku Films, pre-bought by Ciné+ and supported by the Grand Est region, the Métropole du Grand Nancy and Cinécapital among others, the feature film will start filming in early June and will be distributed in France by New Story.
