, which will wrap on 25 August. After working with Joanne Giger’s screen adaptation of the successful Roland Buti novel for her previous project, she is now returning to an original script.

) who plays Germain, a 75 year old man living a contemplative retirement, enjoying an indecent idleness fed by a slight misanthropy. Lise, his wife of 50 years, takes care of everything at home, and happily fills her diary with artistic and charitable activities. The day Lise suddenly dies, Germain’s life is invaded by his family, who imposes on him a surveillance that he would gladly do without.

The film is produced by Box Productions (Switzerland) and coproduced by Need Productions (Belgium), who were already associated to the filmmaker’s previous film. It will be distributed in Switzerland by Out of the Box and sold internationally by Be For Films.
