Producers LINK is a new programme launched by Kids Kino Industry and Cinekid for Professionals. The two leading industry events focus on emerging producers of children’s content, aiming to stimulate the production of top-quality children’s content and pan-European co-productions. Furthermore, the programme will provide crucial follow-up both during and after the events in the Autumn.

For the first edition of Producers LINK, a total of 25 producers have been nominated by international partner organisations: Catalan Films, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, the Czech Film Fund, the Film Centre of Montenegro, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Poland, Film Commission Sardegna, German Children's Media Foundation, Gigant Films, the Greek Film Centre, KIDS Regio, the Netherlands Film Fund, the Norwegian Film Institute, the Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of Commerce (KIPA), the Producers Guild of Poland and the Slovak Film Institute. The programme will begin in September, with the first residency at Kids Kino Industry (27 September-1 October) in Warsaw, and it will be conclude at Cinekid for Professionals (19-22 October), the industry arm of the Cinekid Festival in Amsterdam.

As the Kids Kino Industry is focused on the Central and Eastern European landscape and Cinekid for Professionals retains a laser focus on the pan-European and international landscape, the aim for both events is to stimulate the production of high-quality children’s content via international talent labs, a co-production market, promotion, matchmaking and knowledge-sharing via expert conference programmes. Both events are proven hubs for emerging production companies or producers looking to take the step into children’s productions.
