Bálint Dániel Sós has been shooting his first feature film, Growing Down, since 14 November.

The cast is led by the eye-catching name of Szabolcs Hajdu (well-received for his acting performances, especially in his own films, It’s Not the Time of My Life [+leggi anche:

), the story explores the moral dilemma of a father who is the sole witness to an accident caused by his own son and has to decide between accepting the burden of the truth (putting the life of his child at risk) or lying and deceiving his loved ones.

Growing Down is produced by Zoltán Mártonffy and Ádám Farkas on behalf of CineSuper and enjoyed support from the Hungarian National Film Institute’s Incubator programme. The 28-day film shoot will press on until 8 January in Budapest, Hévíz and Salgótarján, with Kristóf M. Deák heading up photography. International sales are still under negotiation.
