by Malaysian helmer Amanda Nell Eu. Her feature debut scrutinises the turbulent changes of female puberty in a refreshing style that merges genres and takes a playful, cheeky dig at society. Produced by Malaysia’s Ghost Grrrl Pictures, and co-produced by Taiwan’s Flash Forward Entertainment, Singapore’s Akang Film Asia, France’s Still Moving, Germany’s Weydemann Bros, Dutch outfit PRPL and Indonesia’s Kawankawan Media, Tiger Stripes is being sold overseas by Films Boutique.

, the feature-length fiction debut by Belgium’s Paloma Sermon-Daï. The production by Belgium’s Michigan Films, co-produced by their compatriots at Visualantics and by France’s Kidam, is sold internationally by Greece’s Heretic Outreach.

Designed to single out an actor or actress, the Rising Star Award ended up going to the young Jovan Ginić for his performance in Lost Country [+leggi anche:

 by Serbia’s Vladimir Perisić, a second feature produced by France’s Easy Riders Films and KinoElektron, with the co-producers including their compatriots at Arte France Cinéma and Cosmodigital, Serbia’s Trilema Films, Croatia’s Kinorama and Luxembourg’s Red Lion. The international sales are handled by Memento International.
