As the first year of the partnership between GoCritic! and Animation Festival Network has wrapped up with a workshop at Fest Anča International Animation Festival, GoCritic! is now gearing up for the second round. 

The first upcoming festival in which GoCritic! will take part with its workshop is the Bucharest International Animated Film Festival Animest, running from 7 to 15 October, 2023. Up to six participants will be tutored by Vladan Petković, GoCritic! Head of Studies. 

Animest is the biggest film festival in Bucharest and the second largest in Romania in terms of audience, number of films, screenings and related events presented. Moreover, it is the only Oscar-qualifying festival in Romania.

In 2023 and 2024, GoCritic! will take place at the following festivals. Please note that calls for participants will open approximately three months before each of the workshops. We kindly ask prospective participants to consider the various dates and apply to those festivals whose dates fit them the best.
