) and Magaly Richard-Serrano, the script centres on Mikado and Laetitia who meet at the age of 16  in a home for minors and fall in love. When Laetitia becomes pregnant, they decide to run away, afraid that their baby will be taken from them. 13 years later, their daughter Nuage does not officially exist. She and her little brother are not in the civil register…

Produced by Fabrice Goldstein and Antoine Rein for Karé Productions and by Pauline Seigland and Lionel Massol for Films Grand Huit, Mikado was pre-bought by Canal+ and Ciné+. Supported by the advance on receipts of the CNC, the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, and the Cinéventure and Cofimage Soficas, the feature film is shooting until 15 September in Aix-en-Provence and Toulon with Romain Le Bonniec as director of photography. The release in French cinemas will be handled by Memento Distribution and the international sales by Pulsar Content.
