, a debut feature by Alfredo Picazo and Luis “Soto” Muñoz which will compete in the Tierres en Trance section, where it will also enjoy its world premiere.

It is a docufiction shot in black and white that portrays Antonio, who narrates his childhood in a village in Cordoba during Easter celebrations. The boy, a lonely and curious child, meets Paco, an elderly painter, and will express his questions to the old man, especially those related to death and religion. So, the man will teach the boy not only to paint, but also to observe and to understand life as a transitional stay.

Luis Muñoz Cubillo alias "Soto" (Baena, Córdoba, 2000) has a degree in Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts from the TAI School of Arts. He's directed the medium-length film El cuento del limonero and the feature film Sueños y pan [+leggi anche:

. His films are known for using rural areas as a backdrop; interested in decentralised production models, he films with an aura of escapism from the urban frenzy.

Alfredo Picazo (Baena, Córdoba, 2000) also studied at the TAI School of Arts in Madrid, where he specialised in Film Directing. At the same time, he trained as a colourist and directed several music videos. He worked as cinematographer on El cuento del limonero and also wrote and directed the short film Cuando se hundieron las formas puras, loosely inspired by the story of Federico García Lorca during the Spanish Civil War.

The Trail Left by Time, an 83-minute film, is produced by Daniel Peña and Alejandro González (Mubox Studio) with J Alberto Andrés Lacasta (Du Cardelin Studio). It will be distributed in Spain and its international sales will be managed by Les Films de la Résistance.
