Brussels is all set to be enchanted by the cinematic wonders of the North. The Polarise Nordic Film Nights has announced the line-up for its third edition, which will take place from 20 January-1 February.

This year's programme is made up of nine captivating films and promises a diverse cinematic experience, including Brussels premieres, documentaries, comedies, drama and the "Best of" the current film season. Audiences can also look forward to visionary shorts and engaging Q&A sessions with some of the talented filmmakers and actresses.

The festival kicks off on 20 January with the Brussels premiere of Paradise Is Burning [+leggi anche:

scheda film], directed by Swedish filmmaker Mika Gustafson. Winner of the Orizzonti Award for Best Director at Venice, this story of sisterhood will be followed by a Q&A session with lead actresses Bianca Delbravo, Dilvin Asaad and Safira Mossberg.

Finally, the festival will conclude on 1 February with a screening of the US production Dream Scenario by Norwegian director Kristoffer Borgli, a joyously twisted film featuring Nicolas Cage as an everyman who becomes famous through the dreams of millions.
