The results of the second round of project’s evaluation under the Council of Europe’s Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions have just been announced. Further to the evaluations made by independent experts, the Council of Europe, home of Eurimages, has decided to support nine series co-productions for a total amount of €3 500 000. Of the 9 series co-productions projects supported during the session, women represent 42% of creators, 55% of writers and 40% of directors. Thirteen national, regional, or minority languages are used.

scheda film], among others) a production by Ireland's Pembridge Film Productions, Luxembourg's Iris Productions and UK's Wee Buns, with €500,000; Droneland, created by Nicolas Steil (The Way to Happiness), a production by Luxembourg's Iris Productions, Germany's Syrreal Entertainment, the Netherlands' Topkapi Films, Poland's Enter Film and Germany's Iris Productions Deutschland, with €500,000; BFF, created by Agnė Adomėnė and Urtė Oettinger, a production by Lithuania's Art Shot and Slovakia's Artichoke, with €500,000; Detective von Fock, created by Leana Jalukse, a production by Estonia's 360 Media OÜ, Latvia's SIA Bergmane Production and Italy's Movie.mento, with €250,000; LUME, created by Irene Pin, a production by Portugal's Coral – Vision Europa and Spain's Producciones Audiovisuales Sete Media, with €250,000; Moloch, created by Lukáš Hanulák, Vratislav Šlajer and Štefan Titka, a production by Slovakia's Raketa and Czech Republic's Bionaut, with €500,000; Stories from Backwoods, created by Leevi Lemmetty, a production by Ireland's Ink and Light, Finland's Muste ja Valo and Ireland's Backwoods, with €250,000; as well as the second season of The Golden Hour, created by Simon de Waal, a production by the Netherlands' NL Film & TV and Belgium's Polar Bear Commv, with €500,000, and the third season of Hidden Assets, created by Peter McKenna, a production by Ireland's Saffron Moon, Belgium's Potemkino and Canada's Facet 4 Media, with €250,000.
The Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions is a three-year initiative of the Council of Europe (read news). It supports high-quality series made as international co-productions and aims to empower independent producers and foster new relationships.
