As every year, the parallel sections of the San Sebastián International Film Festival will screen a varied selection of the best of the festival season in the Basque city, including some world premieres. The 72nd edition, which will take place from 20 to 28 September, will include 23 films in the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera section and 14 in the Horizontes Latinos section.

Zabaltegi-Tabakalera, the festival's most open competitive section, will once again focus on award-winning titles and those featured at the Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Rotterdam, Sundance and Venice film festivals. Thirteen feature films, two medium-length films and eight short films are competing for the section's award. Among them, the Golden Bear winner in Berlin, Dahomey [+leggi anche:

The Horizontes Latinos section once again focuses on titles fully or partly produced in in Latin America, providing a great sample of the continent's diverse and crucial industry.
