scheda film], was also recently adapted for the big screen), the story revolves around Hélène and Christophe, two forty-somethings both hailing from the same small town in France’s Vosges department. She graduated from a top university and has a career and two daughters. She’s fulfilled her teenage dream of getting out, moving to a different environment and succeeding in life. Christophe, for his part, has never left the hole where he and Hélène grew up. And he’s not as good-looking as he used to be. He now sells dog food, dreams of playing hockey like he used to at age 16, and lives with his father and his son…

Connemara is produced by Emmanuel Georges and Brigitte Ducottet on behalf of Supermouche Productions and by Édouard de Vésinne for Incognita in co-production with StudioCanal (who will also steer international sales and French distribution).
