They are joined by three young filmmakers preparing their feature debuts: Russia’s Anastasia Veber (Golden Bear for Best Short Film at Berlin in 2022 with Trap), Lithuania’s Eglé Razumaite (in the short-film competition at Cannes this year with Ootidé) and Berlin-based Australian director Rudolf Fitzgerald-Leonard (popular in the 2022 Directors’ Fortnight with the short film Beben, among other titles).
It’s worth noting that these six promising filmmakers will also be attending Cannes from 13-24 May 2025 on the occasion of the 78th edition of the festival.
