The REC Tarragona International Film Festival is a gathering centring on new creations and the promotion of emerging talent, which will take place from 4-8 December in the city of Tarragona, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every year, through its internationally orientated Feature Debut competition, boasting debut works by emerging creators, as well as its parallel sections, it establishes itself as a valuable showcase for current trends in cinema.

Standing out in the main section are pictures hailing from the most recent Cannes Film Festival, such as France’s Queens of Drama [+leggi anche:

Furthermore, standing out particularly in the festival’s programme is the section dubbed Xiuxiuejos (Shared Intimacies), hinging on the ways in which we represent ourselves when alluding to our private lives and those of the people around us.
