L'ICAA spagnolo assegna sovvenzioni per 31,6 milioni di euro a 32 progetti di lungometraggio

The Ministry of Culture, through the ICAA (Film and Audiovisual Arts Institute), has completed the 2024 second procedure for the general production grants of feature-film projects for an amount of 31,683,271 euros. The total budget allocation for the 2024 call for proposals is 62 million euros, to be awarded in two procedures, equalling the allocation in 2023. In the first procedure this year, 30,316,729 euros were awarded to 31 projects (read more).

In this second procedure, out of the 45 projects that applied for grants, 32 were successful. Of these, 30 are in the fiction category, one is a documentary and one is an animated film. And of the total number of beneficiaries, 14 are international co-productions that have been awarded funding worth 13,704,355 euros, representing 43.25% of the total allocation.

All the beneficiaries have secured one million euros, except for the documentary by Isaki Lacuesta and Elena Molina Flores para Antonio (read more), which receives €820,000; Our Father, Our President [+leggi anche:
