Since its creation in 2017, the BIF Market has established itself as a key event for genre cinema in Europe. Supported by the expertise of the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), this hybrid market, unspooling both online and in-person, attracts a growing number of international professionals, providing an ideal setting for networking and financing opportunities.

Each year, the event sees an increasing number of projects and participants, confirming its dynamism. The BIF Market offers various initiatives to support creation and production: the Pitchbox Session for emerging talents, international partnerships (Latin America, Asia...), info sessions on funding opportunities, as well as sales panels and project presentations from Hatching Ravens.

Over the years, the BIF Market has also developed strategic collaborations with renowned festivals such as Sitges, Strasbourg and Ventana Sur, enhancing the visibility of Belgian and international projects. As an economic driver for Brussels, the event highlights Belgian expertise in post-production, CGI and special effects while fostering international co-productions.
