On the occasion of the 38th European Film Awards on 17 January in Berlin, and in recognition of a unique contribution to the world of film, the European Film Academy will present Alice Rohrwacher with the European Achievement in World Cinema Award for her unusual and inspiring body of work.

Because of all of this, Alice Rohrwacher is one of contemporary cinema's most distinctive voices worldwide.
