The organisers of NEM Zagreb have unveiled the finalists for the 2025 NEM Awards, a showcase designed to open doors for brand-new TV projects and already-existing series from the CEE region. The initiative aims to encourage co-productions between Central and Eastern European territories and high-capacity production countries, while shining a spotlight on original stories with strong regional and international potential. The ceremony will take place on 9 December, when the jury (see the news) will reveal the winners in both categories.
The "Best Pre-Development TV Series in Europe, powered by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre - HAVC" category puts the focus on promising series still at an early stage of development. It offers writers and creators a chance to present their ideas to industry professionals who can help them move from concept to screen, effectively bridging imagination and opportunity.
Meanwhile, the "Best Finished TV Series in the CEE" category celebrates completed shows that, according to an independent jury based outside the region, have already proven their worth in terms of storytelling and production values. Together, the two awards underscore NEM Zagreb’s ambition to support European TV series across the entire value chain, from early development through to market-ready titles.
