Three projects were selected during the first 2026 edition of the third session of the CNC’s advance on receipts programme (fourth feature films and above).

scheda film]) based on the eponymous novel by Arthur Dreyfus, the screenplay for The Third Hand plunges us into the midst of the First World War, where a 14-year-old boy is caught in the crossfire. Wounded, he wakes up in the cellar of his ‘savior,’ a mad scientist who performs abominable transplants. Soon, the young man discovers a protrusion coming out of his navel... A hand! Production is being handled by Les Compagnons du cinéma, and StudioCanal will handle international sales and distribution in France.
