The first-look image shows Zeta-Jones as Jackie Price, a glamorous art dealer whose carefully constructed new life begins to unravel when her past as an international drug smuggler catches up with her. For the previous 20 years, Jackie has enjoyed a wealthy existence, travelling the world, selling fine art and exploiting sophisticated tax loopholes while attempting to remain anonymous. Having escaped her former criminal life, she has largely succeeded in keeping her identity hidden.

Her circumstances change when she discovers that the Seven Demons, a group comprising some of the world’s most dangerous assassins, have been hired to kill her. Convinced that somebody from her past is responsible, Jackie draws on her old instincts and devises a plan to eliminate the killers one by one before they can reach her.

As the pursuit intensifies, however, Jackie is forced to confront secrets and personal demons that prove more dangerous than the assassins on her trail. Her investigation ultimately leads her closer to home, with unexpected consequences.

Appearing alongside Zeta-Jones are Daniel Ings (The Gentlemen, I Hate Suzie), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Prime Target, Borgen), Óscar Jaenada (Rambo: Last Blood, Cantinflas), Hattie Hook (Of an Age, Ten Pound Poms), Darci Shaw (A Thousand Blows, This City Is Ours), Raff Law (Masters of the Air, Triton) and Enzo Cilenti (Black Mirror, The Crown).

The ensemble cast also includes Christine Adams (Hijack, Malice), Julian Rhind-Tutt (Britannia, Napoleon), Kārlis Arnolds Avots (Soviet Jeans, Lovable), Set Sjöstrand (The Wheel of Time, Vikings: Valhalla), Tadashi Ito (Society of the Snow, The Platform 2), Sebastian Armesto (Gangs of London, A Small Light), Julian Barratt (The Mighty Boosh, The Great), Gavin Spokes (House of the Dragon, Slow Horses), Jonathan Cake (And Just Like That…, Camping), Bamshad Abedi-Amin (A Town Called Malice, The Last Kingdom) and Bill Paterson (Fleabag, Criminal Justice).

Kill Jackie is being co-produced by Fremantle (UK) and Steel Springs Pictures (Australia). It was co-created by Conor Keane, Tom Butterworth, Peter Lawson and Damon Thomas, whose previous credits include Killing Eve and Gangs of London. Butterworth serves as writer and showrunner, whilst Thomas is the lead director. Keane co-wrote the television adaptation and is also attached as an associate producer. Harkaway serves as an executive consultant. The executive producers are Lawson and Jose Augustin Valdes for Steel Springs Pictures, Butterworth, Thomas and Zeta-Jones, alongside Dante Di Loreto and Jeffrey Levine. José Luis Escolar’s Deabru Kalea Filmeak is supervising the production in Biscay, in Spain’s Basque Country.

The series will be available on Prime Video in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Canada.
