Presentation & Philosophy:
At Focus Movie Academy, we are passionate about storytelling, creativity, and artistic excellence. Our
mission is to shape the next generation of filmmakers and actors, offering them the skills, tools, and
guidance they need to succeed in the ever-evolving world of cinema.
Our Educational Paths
We offer two main training programs designed to provide a comprehensive and hands-on learning
experience:
- Filmmaking Program: From script to screen, students in the Filmmaking Program learn every
aspect of the cinematic process. Our curriculum includes:
• Screenwriting
• Directing
• Cinematography
• Editing
• Sound Design
• Production Management
Students work on real sets, collaborate with actors, and create short films to build their portfolio. - Acting Program: For those passionate about performance, our Acting Program focuses on
developing expressive, confident, and versatile actors. Courses include:
• Acting Techniques (Stanislavski, Meisner, and more)
• Voice and Diction
• Improvisation
• Acting on camera
• Audition Preparation
Students perform in front of the camera and on stage, gaining valuable experience and feedback from
industry professionals.
Our Mission
Our goal is to train and inspire young artists, equipping them with practical experience, creative
confidence, and industry knowledge. Whether behind the camera or in front of it, FMA is a launchpad
to a professional career in film and television.
Our Community
We are proud to have over 100 enrolled students who come from diverse backgrounds but share the
same passion: creating and performing powerful stories. Our collaborative environment encourages
teamwork, experimentation, and personal growth.

A Three-Year Journey in Film and Acting Education
Focus Movie Academy offers a comprehensive three-year training program designed for students
who are serious about building a professional career in the world of cinema and performing arts.
Our program combines theoretical study, practical experience, and creative development, providing
students with a deep and well-rounded understanding of the industry.
Program Structure
The three-year curriculum is structured to guide students from foundational skills to advanced
techniques, and includes:
• Year 1: Core fundamentals in filmmaking or acting
• Year 2: Skill development, technical training, and project work
• Year 3: Advanced performance or directing, industry preparation, and final projects
Each year builds upon the previous, ensuring continuous growth in both personal and professional
areas.
Students are involved in hands-on workshops, film productions, and performance showcases,
working closely with peers and professionals throughout their training.
Certificate of Attendance
Upon successful completion of the three-year program, students receive an official Certificate of
Attendance from Focus movie Academy, recognizing their dedication, commitment, and hours of
training.
While not an academic degree, this certificate is a valuable document for entering the industry,
supported by a strong portfolio and practical experience gained during the program.
Programme objective and structure:
Training Programs
We currently offer two study options to accommodate different levels of commitment and experience:
Full Program – 25 Hours per Week
Ideal for students who want to fully immerse themselves in film and acting education. This intensive
track includes:
• In-depth classes in filmmaking or acting
• Practical exercises and scene work
• Collaborative short film productions
• Weekly feedback sessions with instructors
Part-Time Program – 12 Hours per Week
Perfect for students balancing other commitments. This flexible track focuses on:
• Core modules in filmmaking or acting
• Technique development
• Hands-on learning in a condensed schedule
• Participation in school productions and showcases
Weekend Workshops
In addition to our weekly classes, we regularly host specialized weekend workshops led by renowned
casting directors and professional acting coaches. These events offer students the opportunity to:
• Practice audition techniques
• Receive direct feedback from industry professionals
• Expand their skills in niche areas (e.g., self-tape mastery, improvisation, scene study)
• Network with working professionals and gain industry insights
Workshops are open to both full-time and part-time students, and often attract participants from outside
the academy as well.
