Il Belgio ha scelto il giovane attore di Anyway the Wind Blows (Tom Barman), Matthias Schoenaerts, che ha lavorato anche in numerosi film fiamminghi, oltre a Alias (2001) di Jan Verheyde e Filles (2002) di Dorothée van den Berghe.

I think it is going to be a real milestone in Belgian movie production, because Tom Barman is someone who is completely free and unconnected to anything that has to do with the established film world. So he has his own ideas and he is ready to take risks. I think we all miss people who love to take risks and he is one of those and so I was very glad to work with him.
I don't know too much about the American film market but I have the feeling that American movies are much more commercial it does not mean that this is always bad, but I personally prefer more the sincere way of European film making.
