) and Christian Volckman, the story revolves around Kate and Matt, a couple in their early thirties, who are in search of some authenticity in their lives. The young couple decide to leave the city behind, buy a big house in the middle of nowhere and renovate it. Shortly after they move, they discover a strange, hidden room that is unlike the others, and which is capable of fulfilling all their desires. Their new life becomes a veritable fairy tale. Kate and Matt give in to all of the temptations that the Room offers them. Money and champagne start flowing like water, but a shadow looms over this apparent Garden of Eden: the Room will bring to light their deepest desire, and will grant them the very thing they have always been waiting for, and which Mother Nature had been denying them… And soon their dream turns into a nightmare…

Produced by Yaël Fogiel and Laetitia Gonzalez for Les Films du PoissonThe Room will be co-produced by Belgian outfit Versus Production and Luxembourg’s Bidibul Productions.
