by Louis Clichy and Alexandre Astier, which is currently proving to be a smash hit in French theatres (notching up 3.46 million admissions in just five weeks), has been nominated for the 2019 Lumières Award for Best Animated Film and has already been sold for distribution in 55 territories. Interestingly, the movie has already come out in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania and Portugal (since Thursday, via NOS Audiovisuais). It is being distributed from today onwards in Spain by Vértice Cine, and will be out in Greece on 17 January, thanks to Feelgood Entertainment; in Poland on 18 January, via Kino Swiat; in Romania on the same date, courtesy of RO Image 2000 and Prorom; in Italy from 7 March, thanks to Notorious Pictures; and in Germany from 14 March, via Universum Film.

The SND team, led by head of international sales Charlotte Boucon, will also be pinning its hopes on a new title that has been added to its line-up, the very first images of which will be shown at the event: Good Morning Professor! by Émilie Therond (who turned heads in 2016 with Mon maître d’école). The documentary, which is currently being shot, travels from a Siberian nomad camp buried beneath the snow to the remote bushland of Burkina Faso, via the flooded lands of Bangladesh. Three teachers are driven by their sole and common vocation. They are the discreet and humble heroes who will build the adults of tomorrow. They are fully aware that an educated child can change the world… The film is being produced by Paris-based outfit Winds, which has On the Way to School [+see also:
