in 2011, will be getting back to filmmaking in French, just as we’ve learned that he’s set to work with Terence Malick once again, playing the apostle Peter in a film based upon the life of Jesus. Opposite him in The Restless, we’ll find the Italian actress that everyone’s talking about, who was first discovered in 2001 in Nanni Moretti’s The Son’s Room [+see also:

among other works. Likewise set to grace the film’s credits are Luxembourg firm Samsa Film and Flemish outfit Prime Time, while French distribution of the film, which is due to begin shooting in spring 2020, is in the hands of Memento.

It’s a busy time indeed for Stenola Productions, who are also planning to shoot the new work by the category-defying filmmaker Jan Bucquoy in mid-October. Following his success in the 1990s with The Sexual Life of the Belgians and Camping Cosmos, the director is returning with a new and partially autobiographical opus, The Last Temptation of the Belgians [+see also:

, toplined by Wim Willaert, Alice on the Roof, Alex Vizorek and Nathalie Meskens. Stenola are likewise developing Micha Wald’s upcoming film, The Isle of the Demoiselle, not to mention Chaleur sans frontières, the first feature film by Ivan Goldschmidt.
