), the story revolves around 25-year-old Natacha, a young single mother who’s a waitress in a snack bar and who’s struggling to raise her 8-year-old son Enzo. Torn between a yearning for emancipation and the comfort that her mother Irène insists upon offering her, Natacha feels trapped. Meeting Walid, who is waiting until he has raised sufficient funds to pay his passage to England, will open up her eyes to new horizons and help her take steps towards a new life...

Le Prix du passage is produced by Miléna Poylo and Gilles Sacuto on behalf of TS Productions (with Constance Penchenat acting as associate producer) and is co-produced by Belgian group Artémis Productions. Pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature film also enjoys the support of the Hauts-de-France region (via Pictanovo) and the SOFICA companies Palatine Etoile and Indéfilms, as well as backing from La Sélection (Groupe Ouest/Gan Foundation). Shooting is scheduled to unfold between 29 April and 7 May in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Dunkirk, Gravelines and Toulon with Martin Rit at the helm of photography. Distribution in France will be managed by Diaphana whilst international sales will be steered by Be For Films.
