The ninth edition of the Antalya Film Forum, the co-production market and project-development sidebar of the 59th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival (1-8 October), will be held from 2-4 October physically and from 4-6 October online. Spanning five different platforms, the Antalya Film Forum is inviting 27 projects at various stages of production to come and be presented, and is headed up by Armağan Lale and Pınar Evrenosoğlu.

In the Pitching for Feature Films in Development platform, nine projects (from among the record 76 submitted) that are currently at the development stage, and which have a director and producer from Turkey attached, were selected to be presented in person. Two of them will receive the Antalya Film Forum Pitching for Feature Films in Development Platform Awards, worth TL 40,000 (€2,200) each, while two more prizes will be given out: the Film Standartları Postproduction Award and the Filmarka Equipment Support Award.

In the Feature Work in Progress section, five projects, out of the 26 submitted, will be eligible to win prizes of a total amount of over TL 200,000 (€11,000): the Features Work in Progress Award, the TRT Features Work in Progress Platform Award, the Special Jury Award, and the Başka Sinema Distribution and Promotion Award.

The participants in Feature Work in Progress are as follows:

Furthermore, five projects will be screened as part of Documentary Works in Progress, and they will be going head to head for prizes totalling over TL 80,000 (€4,400). The participants are as follows:

Running for the third year in a row, the Series/Short Series Platform has received over 60 submissions, and five have been selected to duke it out for the top prize awarded by Netflix Turkey, which includes a free accreditation for the Netflix Turkey Series Project Development Workshop, as well as cash funding of TL 100,000 (€5,500) from Grow Creative.

The selection of the platform comprises the following projects:

Finally, three projects have been selected for the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund, and one of them will end up receiving support of TL 150,000 (€8,200) from the city of Antalya, in addition to a Post-Production Award sponsored by Fono Film. The stipulations are that at least half of the film must be shot in the city of Antalya, and at least two-thirds of the final cut must include footage of Antalya.
