Diwan will be backed up by German actor Franz Rogowski, Portuguese DoP Rui Poças, Sundance Film Festival head of programming Kim Yutani and Indian journalist Meenakshi Shedde (also a programming advisor for the Berlinale).

The jury will decide on the winners of the Critics’ Week Grand Prize, the French Touch Prize of the Jury, the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award for Best Actor or Actress, and the Leitz Ciné Discovery Prize for Short Film.

The selection of the 2023 Critics’ Week will be unveiled online on Monday 17 April by artistic director Ava Cahen.
