Cannes adds four new titles to the Official Selection
- The festival welcomes Bi Gan in competition, Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret in Cannes Première, Martin Bourboulon out of competition and Eugene Jarecki in the special screenings

The Official Selection of the 78th Cannes Film Festival (13-24 May) has just been rounded off with four additional feature films. There are now 22 movies vying for the Palme d'Or (see the news - seven of which are directed by women), after the addition of Resurrection [+see also:

The Cannes Première programme has added Ma frère, the second feature by Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret (winners in the 2022 Un Certain Regard with The Worst Ones [+see also:

film profile]) will present 13 jours, 13 nuits (see the article - starring Roschdy Zem, Lyna Khoudri and Sidse Babett Knudsen) out of competition, and US filmmaker Eugene Jarecki will present his documentary The Six Billion Dollar Man (on the Julian Assange case) as a special screening.
