Written by the director, the screenplay focuses on the '80s and '90s, taking the form of an initiatory account, the tale of a generation through the intertwined paths of four heroes.
Produced by Antoine Rein, Fabrice Goldstein and Caroline Adrian for Karé Productions and Delante Films, Des Lendemains qui chantent is coproduced by France 2 Cinéma and Rhône-Alpes Cinéma. Pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the film has benefitted from eight weeks of filming in the Ile-de-France and Rhône-Alpes regions (notably in Lyon and Saint-Etienne). Distribution on French screens will be handled by UGC and international sales by TF1 International.
Karé Productions, which chalked up a success in 2012 with The Dandelions by Carine Tardieu, will be launching Les reines du ring by Jean-Marc Rudnicki (article) in cinemas on June 26th.
