Written by the director with Baya Kasmi, Pierre Chosson and Julien Lilti, the screenplay focuses on Benjamin (Lacoste), an ambitious and very self-confident medical student. For his first internship, he joins his father’s team (Gamblin). And then, of course, nothing goes the way he expected. He is confronted by his own limits, his fears, those of his patients and their families, the doctors and his colleagues. He then embarks on an initiatory journey...

Produced by Agnès Vallée and Emmanuel Barraux for 31 Juin Films, Hippocrate benefits from a France 2 Cinéma coproduction, pre-purchases by Canal+ and Ciné+, an advance on receipts from the CNC and the support of Sofica Manon and Palatine Etoile. Filming will take place over 37 days in the Ile-de-France region and end on April 5th. Le Pacte will handle both French distribution and international sales.
