film profile] in 2006) from the theatrical universe of British playwright Alan Ayckbourn, and more specifically in this case from the play Life of Riley, which has been adapted by Alex Réval, Laurent Herbiet, Caroline Silhol and Jean-Marie Besset.

Filming should start this month with a cast featuring Sabine Azéma, Hippolyte Girardot, Sandrine Kiberlain, André Dussollier, Caroline Silhol and Michel Vuillermoz . The story begins with a group of close friends discovering that one of them has only a few months left to live. This terrible news will have unexpected and very funny repercussions on this little friendly circle...

Produced by Jean-Louis Livi for F comme Film, Aimer, boire et chanter is coproduced by France 2 Cinéma. Pre-purchased by Canal+, the movie, to be filmed over a period of about ten weeks, will be distributed by Le Pacte.
