Lucrecia Botín, Alvaro Longoria (Morena Films, Spain) and Andy Paterson (Sympathetic Ink, UK) are producing. Alexandra Lebret (Mare Nostrum, France) co-produces with Laura Bickford as executive producer.

The film will be shot in many of the locations where the real events took place, around Santillana del Mar in Cantabria.

This will be the first fiction feature for Hudson since 2000’s I Dream of Africa. His last directorial venture was 2011’s Rupture: A Matter of Life OR Death, a documentary that charted his wife Maryam d’Abo’s recovery from illness.
