The films nominated for the European Animated Feature Film and European Comedy EFAs revealed

- Three animated features and three comedies will compete at the 29th European Film Awards, to be held on 10 December in Wroclaw, Poland
The European Film Academy and EFA Productions have unveiled the titles nominated in the European Animated Feature Film and European Comedy categories for the 29th European Film Awards, supported by the MEDIA – Creative Europe sub-programme of the EU, which will take place on Saturday 10 December in Wroclaw, Poland, the 2016 European Capital of Culture.
The nominees in the European Animated Feature Film category are My Life as a Courgette [+see also:

A committee decided on the nominations in this category based on a list of films provided by Cartoon, the European Association of Animation Film, in addition to individual film submissions. The committee consisted of Spanish EFA board member and producer Antonio Saura, Irish director Tomm Moore and Polish producer Anja Šošić, as well as Cartoon representatives Karsten Kiilerich, Marc Du Pontavice and Vincent Tavier.
The nominations for European Comedy were decided on by a committee consisting of Romanian EFA board member and producer Ada Solomon, Nacho Carballo from the Gijón IFF, Danish distributor Kim Foss, the UK's Nik Powell from the NFTS and Marten Rabarts, representing the EYE Film Institute in the Netherlands.

The winner will be chosen once the nominated films have been submitted to the over 3,000 EFA members. They will elect the winning film for each category, which will then be presented at the EFA ceremony.
