Scripted by Amigorena, the film centres on a North American policewoman whose life falls apart when her family is killed in a settling of scores. Determined to get revenge, she follows the murderers’ trail all the way to South America.

Produced by Laurent Lavolé for Gloria Films, Another Silence has co-production support from Canada (Max Films) and Argentina (Rizoma Films), and backing from Arte France and Canal +. In reverse order to the story, shooting will start in Argentina (from Buenos Aires to the Bolivian border) before relocating to Canada.

The film will be released in French theatres by Rezo and international sales will be managed by Celluloid Dreams.
