Casomai by Alessandro D'Alatri is chalking up awards at the 17th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival where Floridians gave the film a standing ovation. To date Casomai has won numerous important awards including best film, director, screenplay, actress (Stefania Rocca) and actor (Fabio Volo).
This latest success may well help the foreign sales of the film, being handled by RaiTrade. The film has already been sold to Canada and negotiations with America are said to be at a positive stage.
