Monica Bellucci will spend this springtime in the city of Trieste. Next May the actress will be in Trieste on the set of a new film to be made by the German director Jens Ehler. The film is to be entitled Styx and will feature Bellucci and two other international stars: John Malkovich and Tim Roth. This thriller about genetic mutations will be produced by Heritage Film, the same company that co-produced Schindler’s List. Except for a brief sequence to be shot in Berlin, filming will take place exclusively in this northeastern Italian city thanks to services offered by the regional Friuli Venezia Giulia Film Commission.
