has won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Film and Best Actor for Feyyaz Duman at the 20th Sarajevo Film Festival (15-23 Aug). The Turkish director's first feature film had its world premiere at Sarajevo.

 by Tinatin Kajrishvili received the Special Jury Prize, and its lead, debutant Mari Kitia, was awarded the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Actress.

Naked by Croatia's Tiha K Gudac was crowned Best Documentary, and Eszter Hajdu's Judgement in Hungary won the Human Rights Award. A Special Mention went to Croatian-Dutch co-production Happily Ever After [+see also:

In the shorts competition, Una Gunjak's Cannes Critics' Week title The Chicken (Germany-Croatia) won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Film. Special Mentions went to Shelters by Ivan Salatić from Montenegro and The Execution by Petra Szőcs (Hungary-Romania).

Meanwhile, the Cineuropa prize was bestowed upon Isa Qosja's Three Windows and a Hanging [+see also:
