Frontières@Brussels 2016 is now accepting project submissions for its third annual European edition. For each edition, Frontières selects approximately 20 genre film projects from across Europe & North America. Project participants are invited to partake in a 3-day networking event with the leaders of the international genre film industry at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF).

Last year, the event marked its return to the Belgian capital with an expanded Frontières line-up that allowed more projects to participate in live pitching sessions, as well as specialised spotlights (the Market Spotlight and the Seeking Director Spotlight projects) that have brought together the best in genre-film projects and industry initiatives from around the world. Established in 2012 at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Frontières has since developed into a biannual transatlantic circuit - taking place in Montreal in July, and Brussels in April. The Frontières International Co-Production Market is a collaboration between the Fantasia International Film Festival, Vision-in-Motion, and the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, and is made possible thanks to the generous support of Creative Europe, Visit Brussels, the Brussels Capital-Region, Telefilm Canada and SODEC.
