10/01/2012 - Albert Nobbs di Rodrigo García, Stella Days di Thaddeus O’Sullivan e Un poliziotto da happy hour [trailer, film focus] di John Michael McDonagh guidano le nomination ai noni Irish Film and Television Awards con nove candidature ciascuno nelle principali categorie. I riconoscimenti saranno assegnati l’11 febbraio.

Aine Moriarty, Direttore generale dell’Irish Film and Television Academy, ha commentato: “Gli Irish Film & Television Award sono la vetrina irlandese per ciò che la nostra comunità cinematografica e televisiva, piccola ma validissima, ha da offrire al mondo: lungometraggi e fiction eccellenti e stimolanti, tv d’intrattenimento e contenuti interessanti. L’industria irlandese crea in maniera consistente opere di livello mondiale, viste da un pubblico globale. Gli sforzi economici dell’Irlanda sono ben documentati, ma contro questa pressione ci rincuora vedere come la comunità creativa del paese continui a dimostrare il suo peso e a fare davvero”.
