A total of 17 new feature-film projects will be presented at the upcoming 37th edition of CineMart, which is due to run from 26-29 January. Taking place during the IFFR PRO Days (25-29 January), International Film Festival Rotterdam’s (IFFR) world-renowned co-production market has invited projects from around the globe and will offer this year’s participants tailor-made one-to-one meetings as well as presentations that will be open to the industry guests.

Regarding the selection, Marit van den Elshout, head of IFFR Pro, commented: “We are proud to present a fresh and exciting line-up of titles by both emerging and established filmmakers from a record number of nearly 400 submissions. We strongly believe in collaboration between co-production markets in helping filmmakers reach their project’s potential. We are therefore pleased to share the fact that, as part of a longstanding partnership, two of the selected projects will travel to the Berlinale Co-Production Market after attending CineMart. Another project will attend Trieste prior to CineMart as part of a new collaboration with When East Meets West (WEMW).”
