It is an imaginative and moving adventure, providing pure family entertainment that tells the story of brothers Óscar, 13, and Teo, 11, very different from each other, who live in a modest apartment. The action takes place during the summer of 1989, while the mischievous Teo is a football fan, Oscar is a know-it-all who recites the theory of relativity by heart. But in reality they each deal in their own way with the disappearance of their mother: a promising scientist who died in an accident while researching the phenomenon of wormholes in the universe.

The film originates from the 2016 short film Einstein-Rosen, directed by Osorio, which participated in 240 festivals around the world. According to its producer Emma Lustres, from Vaca Films, it is "a very emotional, entertaining, imaginative and fun story that aims to surprise, thrill and entertain children and adults with a film that is intimate, original and, above all, tender. It is a challenge to take on a type of film that has so few examples in the audiovisual industry in our country".

For Olga Osorio, the film "talks about the love of two brothers. It is also about how our childhood always haunts us and raises some questions: What would happen if we had the chance to rewrite our past? What would we change?” This filmmaker, screenwriter and photographer makes her feature film debut after a successful and acclaimed career in short films: Restart, Mouras and Tinder Time are some of her award-winning films

¡Salta! –which will be filmed during October in Galicia, specifically in the city of A Coruña– is a production from Vaca Films and Quien a hierro mata AIE with the participation of Amazon Prime Video, RTVE, CRTVG and the support of ICAA (Ministry of Culture)Agadic (Xunta de Galicia) and the Europa Creativa MEDIA programme. It will be released in Spanish cinemas in summer 2023, distributed by A Contracorriente Films,  and its international sales will be managed by the Parisian company Playtime.
