Eleven projects have been selected in the fourth 2025 session of the CNC’s advance on receipts scheme.

Standing out among the three titles chosen by the third committee (for fourth features and beyond) is L’enragé, which will be the seventh feature by Emmanuelle Bercot, a filmmaker familiar with major festivals such as Cannes (Standing Tall [+see also:

was in competition in 2013). An adaptation of Sorj Chalandon’s novel of the same name, L’enragé is set in 1934, as 56 boys revolt and escape from the juvenile penal colony on Belle-Île-en-Mer. A manhunt begins, and all are caught - except one... Production is handled by Les Films du Worso and Pathé, with filming slated to start in February.
