). With a cast including Théo Cholbi, Omar Boulakirba, Amine Zourgane, Pierre Lottin and Yannick Choirat, the film takes place in the late 1950s - early 1960s, during the Algerian war. Salah, Kaddour and other young Algerians without resources join the French army as Harkis (Algerians soldiers who fought on the side of France). Their section is headed by Lieutenant Pascal. At the end of the conflict, Algeria obtains its independence. France withdraws while the fate of its Harkis appears very uncertain. Against his hierarchy, Lieutenant Pascal fights to bring his men to France… Produced by Istiqlal Films, the feature film is co-produced by Arte France Cinéma, Nord-Ouest Films and Belgian company Films du Fleuve, with the support of Eurimages and Wallimage among others, and an advance on receipts from the CNC.
