REQUIEM FOR MRS. J.
synopsis
Drama about the country’s economic transition that ate its own children—the people who always worked honestly and failed to adapt to and cope with the new times. The story follows the lives of four women belonging to several different generations: a mother, her two daughters and her mother in law. The main character, Mrs. J, after losing her job, lacks the means to support her family. Her oldest daughter is secretly pregnant, while her younger daughter is going through a stormy period of puberty. The mother-in-law is silent, not communicating with anyone.
